On July 3rd, 2017, NSFC President Yang Wei signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation Georgia on Research Cooperation in Beijing with Ms. Manana Mikaberidze, Acting Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF).

By signing the MoU, NSFC and SRNSF agree to jointly fund exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Georgian scientists on the basis of consensus and mutual benefit in areas of common interest.
